Councillor John Armour, Policy Lead for Roads, Transport and Amenity Services said:
“Transport affects everyone. Whether you're commuting to work, accessing healthcare, running a business, or enjoying the outdoors, we would like to know about your experiences and ideas for getting about. What you tell us will help us develop a local transport strategy and a case for seeking funding to deliver it. I encourage everyone to give us your views, and help shape a strategy that reflects local needs and ambitions.â€
The Local Transport Strategy (LTS) will aim to address key challenges and opportunities in how people move around 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute—whether by road, rail, ferry, bus, bike, or on foot. It will guide future investment and decision-making to improve connectivity, support economic growth, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance quality of life in 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute.
The survey includes questions on a range of transport topics and runs until 18 November 2025.
