The B8074 has been closed to allow for emergency repairs to be carried out.
Around 3 miles south of Bridge of Orchy, a section of the verge has washed away and the road surface has been undermined.
We expect the road to reopen for the weekend.
An alternative route is available via the A82 and A85 trunk roads.
