Lismore Refuse Collection - 16/03/26

Due to a vehicle breakdown, the Lismore uplift will not take place as scheduled on Monday 16th March.  We will provide an update as soon as possible.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused. 

Islay and Jura missed rubbish and recycling collections - update

Our Limited Access bin lorry will now be operational as of Saturday the 14th March, missed collections will now be done between 14th and 20th March.

Mid 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp - Limited access route - recycling collections 12/03/26

Due to a vehicle breakdown we are unable to collect the blue bins on the limited access routes in Mid 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp today. 

It is unlikely we will be able to carry out these collections until the next scheduled collection date.

The next collection date is 26th March. We will collect any excess recycling that you have if its placed in a box at the side of your blue bin and the weather conditions permit

EV Charging Network - Faults - 05.03.26

Electric Vehicle Charger Faults

We have some faults across our network of EV chargers at the moment. We are working with our maintenance contractors to have these repaired as soon as possible.

The faults and some details are listed below, faults should be reported to Scottish Power on 800 001 5234

• 51143 Fionnphort, Mull, lost communication, investigation has been requested
• 51136 Lorne Street, Oban, lost communication, investigation has been requested

Recycling collections - Helensburgh and Lomond - Limited access only UPDATED

Due to a faulty part on our limited access vehicle we are unable to collect any blue bins on the limited access routes.

UPDATE 03/03/26 - We are trying to source another vehicle to catch up on missed collections, please leave your bin presented. A further update will be provided once the limited access RVC has returned and normal service can resume.

Road Closure B8016 - commencing 9th March 2026

Scottish Water will be undertaking a watermain upgrade along the B8016 at the River Laggan Road Bridge. Work is scheduled to begin on the 9th of March 2026 and is expected to take approximately three months to complete.  

Due to the nature and location of the works, a section of B8016 will be fully closed throughout the duration of the project.
