Isle of Luing commercial refuse collections - UPDATE 14.04.26
Due to a vehicle breakdown, commercial uplifts due today (01/04/26) and recycling collections due tomorrow (02/04/26) on the Isle of Luing will not take place.
Please bring your bins back in and we will provide an update as soon as possible.

Mid-51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp - general waste awkward access route - update 14.04.26
There have been disruptions to general waste collections for properties serviced by the awkward access vehicle in Mid-51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp due to the vehicles breakdown.
An update on when we are able to catch up with missed collections will be provided as soon as possible.

Recycling - Limited Access route, Cowal 13/04/26
Due to a vehicle breakdown, we were unable to complete today's limited access recycling route in Cowal. The affected areas are:
- Lephinmore
- Newton
- Leachd
If your bin was not emptied, please put it out on Thursday 16th April when we will return to catch any bins missed.

Helensburgh - General waste collections 13/04/26
Due to a vehicle breakdown we have been unable to complete general waste collections due today from
- Cove Country Store
- Shore Road to Kilcreggan Health Centre
- from Peaton Hill to Garelochhead.
Please leave your bin out for collection to allow crews to catch up tomorrow.

Islay & Jura - Commercial waste 13/04/26
Due to operational issues we are unable to collect commercial waste due today, 13th April. This collection will now take place on Friday 17th April.

Oban - Recycling collections 10/04/26
Due to a vehicle breakdown recycling collections scheduled in Bonawe today, 10th April will not take place. These collections have been rescheduled to Tuesday 14th April.
An update will be provided if there are any changes to this.

Cliad Recycling Centre, Coll 09/04/26
Cliad Recycling Centre is only able to accept white goods and sofas (no general waste) until further notice. This is due to issues with the ferry which means the site is unable to be serviced.
An update will be provided as soon as normal service can resume.

EV Charging Network - Faults - 08.04.26
Electric Vehicle Charger Faults
We have some faults across our network of EV chargers at the moment. We are working with our maintenance contractors to have these repaired as soon as possible.

Recycling collections - Ford to Kilchrenan 09/04/26
We are unable to complete recycling collection due today, 9th April from Ford to Kilchrenan due to a vehicle breakdown.
An update will be provided as soon as a rescheduled collection date has been arranged.

Road closed at Gribun rocks.

Closed to all through traffic due to rock falls at Gribun Rocks.
Diversion via A849 Kinloch - Craignure - Salen
Temporary road closure - Ardencraig Road (Bute)
Due to subsidence on a section of Ardencraig Road, a temporary closure has been put in place.
An update will be provided once a full assessment has taken place.
Pedestrian access is available.
Road Closure B8016 - commencing 9th March 2026
Scottish Water will be undertaking a watermain upgrade along the B8016 at the River Laggan Road Bridge. Work is scheduled to begin on the 9th of March 2026 and is expected to take approximately three months to complete.
Due to the nature and location of the works, a section of B8016 will be fully closed throughout the duration of the project.
Postcode search not working on payment portal
There is currently an ongoing issue with the postcode look-up on the payment portal. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Our provider is looking into this.
A83 Lochnell Street, Lochgilphead - open under traffic signal control
The A83 Lochnell Street re-opened this afternoon (24 December) under traffic signal control.
Parking restrictions on Lorne Street, Union Street and Manse Brae have now been revoked.
