Free support for parents, carers and families

A new free service from 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute Council, in partnership with Exchange Families is available for parents and carers to help support their child.

Primary one registration

If your child turns five between 1 March 2025 and 28 February 2026, you can register them for primary school during the week beginning Monday 13 January 2025.

Consultation on visitor levy agreed for January

Visitors, residents and businesses will have the chance to give their views on a visitor levy for 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute, following a decision today by Council to run a three month consultation exercise.
