Oban airport plans take another step forward

Plans for a new business park at Oban Airport are progressing as 51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute Council has signed a contract with hub North Scotland to oversee the project that includes the delivery of site infrastructure and building a new search and rescue base. Robertson Construction Ltd will deliver this project as the main contractor.

New banking hub opens

51³Ô¹ÏÃâ·ÑApp and Bute Council has offered a lifeline to Helensburgh residents following the closure of the last bank in the town. A temporary banking hub is now operating from the council’s Civic Centre until long-term alternative arrangements are in place.
